So you have decided to travel to Russia for the holidays! Russia is one of the most popular destinations during the summer months and you need to have visas for Russia travel so you can enter and tour the country. Here are requirements for a Russian visa:
- You need an original, signed passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Russia. There must be at least 2 adjacent blank pages in your passport for Russian visa stamps.
- You need an original Russia visa application completed online; this should be printed and signed along with one copy.
- You need one recent 1 3/8 x 1 ¾ - inch passport style photograph (photo should include head and shoulders, with face looking forward in neutral expression, in color and with a plain white background).
- For an official invitation from Russia, the original invitation issued by the Russian Federal Migration Services should be provided through telex. The visa invitation number and the date the telex should be received by the consulate.
- The US State Department recommends that US citizens register with the US Embassy in Russia.
Traveling to Brazil on the other hand, is equally exciting. There are great things to do and places to visit that cannot be found in any other destination. And therefore, here are tourist visa for Brazil requirements:
- You need an original, signed passport that is valid for 6 months beyond stay in Brazil. There must be at least one blank page on your passport for a Brazilian stamp.
- You can apply for tourist visa for Brazil online. You need one signed Brazil visa application form receipt and one copy.
- You should submit one recent 2 x 2 passport photo in color, front view with a plain white background. You may also upload a passport photo online instead of actual photographs.
- You should submit other forms such as a copy of your driver’s license.
- If you have an official invitation from Brazil, you must indicate this invitation on your application as well.
- You must submit your proof of departure such as a computer generated flight itinerary coming from the airline or travel agency or a copy of your airline tickets or cruise tickets.
- There are special medical instructions for vaccinations for yellow fever.
- The US State Department recommends that US citizens register with the US Embassy in Brazil.
